| Spin Techniques Workshop- Plying Learn how to best ply your singles to make the yarn you desire. This workshop will cover plying techniques for worsted and woolen spun yarns, multi-plyed yarns, novelty plies, finishing, and more! Students will need to know the basics of spinning. Students will need to bring there wheels or reserve a shop wheel in advance. A lazy kate is highly recommended. Please bring two bobbins of regular singles and one bobbin of a bulky thick and thin. | Build Your Own Dog Sweater Use our nifty adjustable pattern to make a custom dog sweater to fit your furry (or not so furry!) friend. This simple pattern will knit up quickly in a bulky yarn. This is a great after beginning knitting project. You will learn to knit in the round, increase, decrease and pick up stitches. Students must need to know how to cast on, knit and purl. Yarn amounts will be based on size of sweater. Please pick up a measuring chart before class if you would like to customize the fit. Generic small, medium and large sizes are already available. | Wool Soakers Using cloth diapers on your baby, or know someone who does? Wool Soakers are THE thing to keep everything dry and happy! Students need to know how to cast-on, knit and purl.
